If you Love Saving Energy and watching your utility bills drop, come to Mays-Munroe at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 26. The Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) is partnering with the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (DACS) to help consumers learn about energy efficient ENERGY STAR appliances for National Consumer Protection Week (NCPW).
Joining PSC Chairman Ronald A. Brisé is State Representative Alan B. Williams, Leon County Commissioner Mary Ann Lindley, Brenda Buchan, with DACS’ Office of Energy, and Mike Munroe, owner of Mays-Munroe. These state and community leaders will share their energy saving practices, along with additional conservation tips to keep your energy costs down. Also, learn about the latest ENERGY STAR appliances and how they can save you money and energy, while giving your kitchen a new look.

During the 15th Annual NCPW, March 3-9, PSC staff will make presentations to consumers in Pembroke Pines, Hollywood, Orlando, Kissimmee, Sanford, and Belle Glade, showing them how to save money through energy and water conservation and how to sign up for the Lifeline Assistance telephone discount program, if they qualify.
