FLORIDA PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION CONSIDERS ITEMS OF INTEREST AT UPCOMING AGENDA CONFERENCE


TALLAHASSEE — The following items are among those scheduled for consideration by the Commission at the March 27, 2007, Agenda Conference:

ITEM 4: DOCKET NO. 070052-GU – PETITION BY PROGRESS ENERGY FLORIDA, INC. TO RECOVER COSTS OF CRYSTAL RIVER UNIT 3 UPRATE THROUGH FUEL CLAUSE. The Commission will consider a staff recommendation to stay the proceeding pending approval of the uprate project from the Siting Board.

ITEM 6: DOCKET 000121A-TP – INVESTIGATION INTO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF OPERATIONS SUPPORT SYSTEMS PERMANENT PERFORMANCE MEASURES FOR INCUMBENT LOCAL EXCHANGE TELECOMMUNICATIONS COMPANIES (BELLSOUTH FLORIDA TRACK). The Commission will consider a staff recommendation addressing proposed changes to the BellSouth Performance Assessment Plan that were presented by the participants in the six-month review process.

ITEM 7: DOCKET NO. 060150-EI – PETITION FOR APPROVAL OF REVISIONS TO CONTRIBUTION-IN-AID-OF-CONSTRUCTION (CIAC) DEFINITION IN SECTION 12.1 OF FIRST REVISED TARIFF SHEET NO. 6.300, BY FLORIDA POWER & LIGHT COMPANY. The Commission will consider a staff recommendation addressing Florida Power and Light’s petition for approval of revisions to its tariff to implement a Government Adjustment Factor (GAF) for the calculation of CIAC.

ITEM 8: DOCKET NO. 060811-EI – PETITION FOR APPROVAL OF PURCHASED POWER AGREEMENTS BETWEEN GULF POWER COMPANY AND CORAL POWER, L.L.C., AND GULF POWER COMPANY AND SOUTHERN POWER COMPANY. The Commission will consider a staff recommendation addressing Gulf Power’s petition for approval of two purchased power contracts.

ITEM 10: DOCKET NO. 070001-EI – FUEL AND PURCHASED POWER COST RECOVERY CLAUSE WITH GENERATING PERFORMANCE INCENTIVE FACTOR. The Commission will consider a staff recommendation concerning the Office of Public Counsel’s petition for clarification and reconsideration of Order No. PSC-06-1057-FOF-EI, issued December 22, 2006.
