Florida Public Service Commission Considers Items of Interest at Upcoming Agenda Conference


TALLAHASSEE — The following items are among those scheduled for consideration by the Commission at the September 11, 2007, Agenda Conference:

ITEM #2: DOCKET NO. 040763-TPREQUEST FOR SUBMISSION OF PROPOSALS FOR RELAY SERVICE, BEGINNING IN JUNE 2005, FOR THE HEARING AND SPEECH IMPAIRED, AND OTHER IMPLEMENTATION MATTERS IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE FLORIDA TELECOMMUNICATIONS ACCESS SYSTEM ACT OF 1991. The Commission will consider a staff recommendation to extend the Sprint Relay contract for one year beginning June 1, 2008.

ITEM #7: DOCKET NO. 070560-TI COMPLIANCE INVESTIGATION OF VIRTUAL REACH CORPORATION FOR APPARENT VIOLATION OF RULES 25-470, F.A.C., REGISTRATION REQUIRED, AND 25-22.032 (6)(B), F.A.C. CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS. The Commission will consider a staff recommendation to impose penalties for rule violations.

ITEM #12: DOCKET NO. 070074-SU APPLICATION FOR STAFF-ASSISTED RATE CASE IN OKEECHOBEE COUNTY BY THE VANTAGE DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION. The Commission will consider a staff recommendation on a rate case for the wastewater facility in Okeechobee County.

ITEM #13: DOCKET NO. 030106-SUAPPLICATION FOR STAFF-ASSISTED RATE CASE IN LEE COUNTY BY ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION SYSTEMS OF PINE ISLAND, INC. The Commission will consider a staff recommendation on a rate case for the wastewater facility on Pine Island, south of Ft. Myers.
