FPSC Assists Seniors in the Daytona Beach Area During National Consumer Protection Week


TALLAHASSEE — Florida’s Public Service Commission (PSC) is showing seniors in the Daytona Beach area how to save money during the 10th annual National Consumer Protection Week, March 2-8, 2008. Financial Literacy: A Sound Investment is this year’s theme, and PSC representatives will visit area senior centers to share tips on how to lower residential utility bills.

Representatives from the PSC will be at the following location in Daytona Beach to talk about how consumers can make a sound investment, helping their pocketbook and the environment, by conserving energy and water resources.

A member of the PSC’s outreach team will be at the following senior center in Daytona Beach:

Additional educational sessions are being held throughout the state.
