Florida Public Service Commission Considers Items of Interest at Upcoming Agenda Conference


TALLAHASSEE — The following items are among those scheduled for consideration by the Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) at the June 3, 2008 Agenda Conference:

ITEM 2: DOCKET NO. 070580-WU – Initiation of Show Cause Proceedings against Kincaid Hills Water Company in Alachua County for violation of Rule 25-30.110, F.A.C., Records and Reports; Annual Reports; Rule 25-30.120, F.A.C., Regulatory Assessment Fees; Water and Wastewater Utilities; and Order PSC-04-0615-FOF-WU.  The Commission will consider a staff recommendation addressing the utility’s failure to timely file annual reports and pay regulatory assessment fees.

ITEM 4: DOCKET NO. 080234-TP Implementation of Florida Lifeline programs involving bundled service packages and placement of additional enrollment requirements on customers. The Commission will consider a staff recommendation addressing application of the Lifeline discount to bundled telecommunications services.

ITEM 12: DOCKET NO. 070586-TP Applications for designation as an eligible telecommunications carrier (ETC) by TracFone Wireless, Inc. for limited purpose of offering Lifeline service to qualified households.  The Commission will consider a staff recommendation on a request from pre-paid wireless carrier TracFone, Inc. to become a Lifeline provider.
