Florida Public Service Commission Considers Items of Interest at Upcoming Agenda Conference


TALLAHASSEE — The following items are among those scheduled for consideration by the Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) at the July 29, 2008 Agenda Conference:

ITEM 6: Docket No. 080184-EQPetition for approval of standard offer contract for small qualifying facilities and producers of renewable energy, by Tampa Electric Company. The Commission will consider a staff recommendation to decide whether or not a contract offered by TECO is in compliance with PSC rules.

ITEM 8: Docket No. 080193-EQPetition for approval of renewable energy tariff and standard offer contract, by Florida Power & Light Company. The Commission will consider a staff recommendation to decide whether or not a contract offered by FPL is in compliance with PSC rules.

ITEM 9: Docket No. 080194-EQPetition for approval of new standard offer for purchase of firm capacity and energy from renewable energy facilities or small qualifying facilities and approval of tariff scheduled REF-1, by Gulf Power Company. The Commission will consider a staff recommendation to decide whether or not a contract offered by Gulf is in compliance with PSC rules.

ITEM 12: Docket No. 070626-EIReview of Florida Power & Light Company’s Sunshine Energy Programs. (Deferred from the July 1, 2008 Agenda Conference). The Commission will consider a staff recommendation addressing the future of FPL’s Sunshine Energy Program.

ITEM 13: Docket No. 080001-EIFuel and purchased power cost recovery clause with generating performance incentive factor (Gulf Power Company). The Commission will consider a staff recommendation on Gulf’s mid-course correction to its 2008 fuel and purchased power cost recovery factors.

ITEM 20: Docket No. 080121-WSApplication for increase in water and wastewater rates in Alachua, Brevard, DeSoto, Highlands, Lake, Lee, Marion, Orange, Palm Beach, Pasco, Polk, Putnam, Seminole, Sumter, Volusia, and Washington Counties by Aqua Utilities Florida, Inc. The Commission will consider a staff recommendation on interim rates.
