Florida Public Service Commission Considers Items of Interest at Upcoming Agenda Conference


TALLAHASSEE — The following items are among those scheduled for consideration by the Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) at the Monday, January 26, Agenda Conference:

ITEM 9:

Docket No. 060122-WUJoint petition for approval of stipulation on procedure with Office of Public Counsel, and application for an increase in water rates to cover specific costs incurred in Pasco County, by Aloha Utilities, Inc.

Docket No. 060606-WSProgress reports on implementation of Anion Exchange in Pasco County, filed by Aloha Utilities, Inc. pursuant to Order PSC-06-0270-AS-WU.

The Commission will consider a staff recommendation addressing Aloha’s request for abatement filed January 9, 2009, and the Office of Public Counsel’s response filed January 13, 2009.

ITEM 10: Docket No. 090005-WSAnnual re-establishment of price increase or decrease index of major categories of operating costs incurred by water and wastewater utilities pursuant to Section 367.081(4)(a), F.S.  The Commission will consider a staff recommendation addressing a proposed 2009 price index for major categories of operating costs incurred by water and wastewater utilities.

ITEM 11: Docket No. 070693-WSApplication for Increase in water and wastewater rates in Lake County by Lake Utility Services, Inc.  The Commission will consider a staff recommendation addressing an application for a rate increase filed by Lake Utility Services, Inc.
