The following items are among those scheduled for consideration by the Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) at the Tuesday, May 19, Agenda Conference:
ITEM 2: Docket No. 080724-EU – Joint petition for approval of territorial agreement in Marion County by Ocala Electric Utility and Progress Energy Florida, Inc. The Commission will consider a staff recommendation to decide which utility will be responsible for serving customers in several areas within Marion County.
ITEM 9: Docket No. 090079-EI – Petition for increase in rates by Progress Energy Florida, Inc. The Commission will address a petition by the company for an interim rate increase.
ITEM 10: Docket No. 090144-EI – Petition for limited proceeding to include Bartow repowering project in base rates, by Progress Energy Florida, Inc. The Commission will consider a request by the company to include in base rates its Bartow facility project to turn four oil-fired units into natural gas-fired units and upgrade related transmission facilities.
ITEM 11: Docket No. 080318-GU – Petition for rate increase by Peoples Gas System. The Commission will address a staff recommendation on final proposed rates for the company’s customer rate classes.
