Florida Public Service Commission Considers Items of Interest at Upcoming Agenda Conference


TALLAHASSEE — The following items are among those scheduled for consideration by the Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) at the Tuesday, November 10, 2009 Agenda Conference:

ITEM 4:
Docket No. 080278-TL
Joint petition for show cause proceedings against Verizon Florida, LLC for apparent violation of Rule 25-4.070, F.A.C., Customer Trouble Reports, and impose fines, by the Office of the Attorney General, Citizens of the State of Florida, and AARP.; and
Docket No. 080234-TPImplementation of Florida Lifeline program involving bundled service packages and placement of additional enrollment requirements on customers. The Commission will consider a staff recommendation addressing a joint settlement between Verizon and the Attorney General, the Office of Public Counsel, and AARP regarding the company’s apparent violation of the Commission’s service standards for 2007 and the first three quarters of 2008.

ITEM 7:  Docket No. 090430-TPAmended petition for verified emergency injunctive relief and request to restrict or prohibit AT&T from implementing its CLEC OSS-related releases, by Saturn Telecommunication Services, Inc.  The Commission will consider a staff recommendation addressing Saturn Telecommunication Services’ request for injunctive relief and stay of AT&T's November release and AT&T's partial motion to dismiss.

ITEM 8:Docket No. 090122-EGPetition for approval of modifications to approved energy conservation programs, by Associated Gas Distributors of Florida.  The Commission will address a petition to add a conservation demonstration and development program for the seven investor-owned natural gas utilities in the association.

The Commission will consider a staff recommendation on new conservation goals for each utility as required every five years by the Florida Energy Efficiency and Conservation Act.
