Florida PSC Considers Items of Interest at Upcoming Commission Conference


TALLAHASSEE — The following items are among those scheduled for consideration by the Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) at the Tuesday, January 11 Commission Conference:

ITEM 6: Docket No. 100155-EGPetition for approval of demand side management plan of Florida Power & Light Company.  The Commission will consider a staff recommendation addressing a plan requiring FPL to implement cost-effective energy efficiency programs as required by the Florida Energy Efficiency and Conservation Act (FEECA).

ITEM 7: Docket No.100009-EI Nuclear cost recovery clause.  The Commission will address remaining nuclear cost recovery clause issues.

ITEM 10: Docket No. 100410-EI Review of Florida Power & Light Company's earnings.  The Commission will consider a staff recommendation about FPL’s 2010 earnings.

ITEM 12: Docket No. 100266-EI Review of 2010 Electric Infrastructure Storm Hardening Plan filed pursuant to Rule 25-6.0342, F.A.C., submitted by Florida Power & Light Company.  The Commission will address storm hardening plan updates as required by Rule 25-6.0342, F.A.C.

ITEM 14: Docket No. 090478-WSApplication for original certificates for proposed water and wastewater systems, in Hernando and Pasco Counties, and request for initial rates and charges, by Skyland Utilities, LLC.  The Commission will address a staff recommendation regarding an original water and wastewater certificate.
