Florida PSC Considers Items of Interest at Upcoming Commission Conference


TALLAHASSEE — The following items are among those scheduled for consideration by the Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) at the Tuesday, February 22 Commission Conference:

ITEM 4: Docket No. 110029-TXCompliance investigation of Easy Telephone Services Company for apparent violation of Rule 25-4.118, F.A.C., Local, Local Toll, or Toll Provider Selection.  The Commission will consider a staff recommendation addressing the company’s settlement offer to resolve 106 slamming complaints. 

ITEM 5: Docket No. 110027-TICompliance investigation of Optic Internet Protocol, Inc. for apparent violation of Rule 25-4.118, F.A.C., Local, Local Toll, or Toll Provider Selection.  The Commission will consider a staff recommendation addressing whether Optic Internet Protocol, Inc. should be fined for 146 apparent rule violations for slamming.

ITEM 6:
Docket No. 100400-WU
Investigation of rates of O&S Water Company, Inc. in Osceola County for possible overearnings.

Docket No. 100440-WUApplication for transfer of water facilities in Osceola County from O&S Water Company, Inc., to Tohopekaliga Water Authority and cancellation of Certificate No. 510-W.

The Commission will consider a staff recommendation addressing the transfer of O&S' water facilities and territory to Tohopekaliga, the cancellation of the utility's certificate, and the resolution of a pending overearnings investigation.

ITEM 8: Docket No. 100104-WUApplication for increase in water rates in Franklin County by Water Management Services, Inc. (Motion for Reconsideration and/or Clarification of Order No. PSC-11-0010-SC-WU).  The Commission will consider a staff recommendation addressing the Office of Public Counsel’s request for the Commission to reconsider and/or clarify its decision in the rate case Final Order.
