Florida PSC Considers Items of Interest at Upcoming Commission Conference


TALLAHASSEE — The following items are among those scheduled for consideration by the Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) at the Tuesday, April 26, Commission Conference:

ITEM 3: Docket No. 110013-TPRequest for submission of proposals for relay service, beginning in June 2012, for the deaf, hard of hearing, deaf/blind, or speech impaired, and other implementation matters in compliance with the Florida Telecommunications Access System Act of 1991.  The Commission will address a staff recommendation on a Request for Proposal to accept bids from vendors to provide relay service.

ITEM 7: Docket No. 100009-EINuclear Cost Recovery Clause.  The Commission will consider PCS Phosphate’s Motion for Reconsideration of the Commission's February 2, 2011, vote concerning its authority to require a risk sharing mechanism.

ITEM 8: Docket No 100358-EIInvestigation into the design of Commercial Time-of-Use rates by Florida Power & Light Company, pursuant to Order No. PSC-10-0153-FOF-EI.  The Commission will address a staff recommendation on establishing a new time-of-use rate for commercial customers.

ITEM 10: Docket No. 100304-EUPetition to resolve territorial dispute with Gulf Power Company in Okaloosa County by Choctawhatchee Electric Cooperative, Inc.  The Commission will address which company should provide service to the Freedom Walk development.
