Florida PSC Considers Items of Interest at Upcoming Commission Conference


TALLAHASSEE — The following items are among those scheduled for consideration by the Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) at the Tuesday, August 23, Commission Conference:

ITEM 1: Docket No. 110228-EI- Petition for exemption under Rule 25-22.082(18), F.A.C., from issuing request for proposals (RFPs) for modernization of the Port Everglades Plant, by Florida Power & Light Company.  The Commission will consider a staff recommendation on the company’s request to modify procedures.

ITEM 3: Docket No. 100077-EI- Investigation of the appropriateness of the affiliate product offerings to Florida Power & Light Company customers.  The Commission will address a staff recommendation on the script used by FPL operators in transferring calls.

ITEM 4: Docket No. 100458-EI- Petition for approval of 2010 nuclear decommissioning study, by Florida Power & Light Company.  The Commission will consider a staff recommendation on revising FPL's annual nuclear decommissioning expense.

ITEM 5: Docket No. 110138-EI- Petition for increase in rates by Gulf Power Company.  The Commission will address a staff recommendation on interim rates.
