Items of Interest at Upcoming Florida PSC Commission Conference


TALLAHASSEE — The following items are among those scheduled for consideration by the Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) at the Tuesday, March 27, Commission Conference:

ITEM 3: Docket No. 120052-TP - Florida Link-Up and Lifeline Program Modernization. The Commission will consider a staff recommendation on changes to the Florida Lifeline and Link-Up program.

ITEM 5: Docket No. 110309-EI – Petition to determine need for modernization of Port Everglades Plant by Florida Power & Light Company. The Commission will address a staff recommendation on the determination of need for a new 1,277 megawatt plant to replace older units at the Port Everglades facility in Broward County.

ITEM 6: Docket No. 110312-EQ – Petition for approval of renewable energy tariff and standard offer contract by Florida Power & Light Company. The Commission will consider a staff recommendation on a contract template for renewable energy providers.

ITEM 9: Docket No. 110264-WS– Application for increase in water and wastewater rates in Pasco County by Labrador Utilities, Inc. The Commission will address a staff recommendation on the company’s request to increase rates and a residential community’s motion to dismiss the rate case.
