TALLAHASSEE —
Florida’s Public Service Commission (PSC) will show seniors how to lower their utility bills on Wednesday, March 6, for National Consumer Protection Week (NCPW), March 3–9. PSC staff will make presentations to consumers, giving seniors tips on how to conserve energy and water, and how to sign up for the Lifeline Assistance telephone discount program, if they qualify. Many seniors on fixed incomes need to lower their utility bills to help conserve resources.
