Items of Interest at Upcoming Florida PSC Commission Conference

TALLAHASSEE — The following items are among those scheduled for consideration by the Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) at its Tuesday, April 9, Commission Conference:

ITEM 4: Docket No. 120152-WS Application for increase in water and wastewater rates in Orange County by Pluris Wedgefield, Inc. The Commission will address a staff recommendation on the utility’s water and wastewater rate request.

ITEM 10: Docket No. 120314-EQ Petition for approval of negotiated renewable energy contracts with U.S. EcoGen Okeechobee, LLC, U.S. EcoGen Clay, LLC, and U.S. EcoGen Martin, LLC, by Florida Power & Light Company (FPL).  The Commission will consider a staff recommendation on FPL’s request for approval of three negotiated contracts for biomass electric generating facilities in Okeechobee, Clay, and Martin Counties. 

ITEM 12: Docket No. 070414-WS Application for staff-assisted rate case in Polk County by Hidden Cove, Ltd. The Commission will address a staff recommendation on the utility’s request for PSC rate restructuring assistance.
