Items of Interest at Upcoming Florida PSC Commission Conference

TALLAHASSEE — The following items are among those scheduled for consideration by the Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) at its Tuesday, August 13, Commission Conference:

ITEM 3: Docket No. 130160-EI Petition for declaratory statement regarding the inspection, repair and replacement of meter enclosures for smart meter analytical tool, by Florida Power & Light Company (FPL).  The Commission will consider a staff recommendation on the utility’s request to clarify its orders about costs and meter enclosure ownership in FPL’s smart meter replacement project.

ITEM 4: Docket No. 130135-GUJoint petition of Florida Public Utilities Company, Florida Public Utilities-Indiantown Division and the Florida Division of Chesapeake Utilities Corporation for approval of Commercial Natural Gas Service Programs.  The Commission will address a staff recommendation on the utilities’ joint petition for approval of proposed commercial natural gas vehicle service programs and associated tariffs.

ITEM 5: Docket No. 130147-GURequest for approval of tariff modifications applicable to natural gas vehicles and fueling facilities, by Florida City Gas.  The Commission will consider a staff recommendation on the utility’s petition to allow service under the newly proposed NGV-II tariff.
