During May’s Older Americans Month, the Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) is partnering with three Broward County Senior Centers for events on May 11 and 12. Seniors will learn how to save money on their utility bills and how to avoid utility-related scams.
PSC representatives will be in the Broward area to distribute and discuss water and energy conservation information, assist eligible seniors in applying for the Lifeline Assistance discounted telephone service program, and educate against falling for scams. Additional educational sessions are being held throughout the state. The Broward County events are scheduled for the following times and locations: Wednesday, May 11, 2016 10:30 a.m. Daniel D.
