TALLAHASSEE —
The Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) will conduct a customer service hearing on Monday, November 7, 2016, for customers of K W Resort Utilities Corp. (KWRU). In July 2015, KWRU filed a petition with the PSC to increase its wastewater rates. KWRU’s current rates were established by the PSC in 2009. KWRU provides wastewater service to approximately 2,060 customers in Monroe County.
The hearing will allow customers to provide public comment on KWRU’s rate request. Customer input will be taken into consideration when the Commission reaches a decision. Customers are invited to attend the hearing at the following time and location: Monday, November 7, 2016 6:00 P.M. Harvey Government Center Board of County Commissioners Meeting Room 1200 Truman Avenue Key West, FL 33040 An administrative hearing will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, November 7, 2016, and will continue on Tuesday, November 8, 2016, and Wednesday, November 9, 2016, if needed. The hearing will adjourn early if all testimony is concluded.
