The Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) will host two information sessions on Tuesday, September 11, 2018, in Duval County for residents to learn about the Lifeline Assistance (Lifeline) discounted telephone and/or broadband service program.
The events highlight National Lifeline Awareness Week 2018, September 10-14, which aims to raise awareness and increase participation in the Lifeline program. Representatives will be available to provide applications for qualified residents. The events are scheduled for the following times and locations: Tuesday, September 11, 2018 9:00 a.m. Louis Dinah Senior Center 1805 Flag Street Jacksonville, Florida 32209 and Tuesday, September 11, 2018 10:15 a.m. Mary L. Singleton Senior Center 150 E. 1st Street Jacksonville, Florida 32206 The Federal Communications Commission, the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners, and the National Association of State Utility Consumer Advocates support National Lifeline Awareness Week.
