TALLAHASSEE —
The Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) will begin a hearing on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 on Florida Power & Light Company’s (FPL) request to charge FPL rates to former City of Vero Beach customers and for approval of FPL's proposed accounting treatment for the purchase of the Vero Beach electric utility.
The Commission will pause the hearing to receive public comment/testimony beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The hearing is scheduled to begin at the following time and location: Tuesday, October 9, 2018 9:00 a.m. Betty Easley Conference Center Joseph P. Cresse Hearing Room (Room 148) 4075 Esplanade Way Tallahassee, Florida In addition, Wednesday, October 10, 2018, is reserved to continue the hearing, if needed. The starting time for this session will be announced at the conclusion of day one.
