Items of Interest at Upcoming Florida PSC Commission Conference

TALLAHASSEE — The following items are among those scheduled for consideration by the Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) at its Thursday, October 2, Commission Conference:

ITEM 2: Docket No. 140029-TPRequest for submission of proposals for relay service, beginning in June 2015, for the deaf, hard of hearing, deaf/blind, or speech impaired, and other implementation matters in compliance with the Florida Telecommunications Access System Act of 1991.  The Commission will address a staff recommendation on the relay service provider selection.

ITEM 7: Docket No. 140110 and 140111-EIPetition for determination of need for Citrus County Combined Cycle Power Plant and cost effective generation alternatives, by Duke Energy Florida, Inc.  The Commission will consider a staff recommendation on the utility’s petitions for new construction projects and upgrades to existing power plants.

ITEM 12: Docket No. 130265-WUApplication for staff-assisted rate case in Charlotte County by Little Gasparilla Water Utility, Inc.  The Commission will address a staff recommendation on proposed rate changes.
