TALLAHASSEE —
The Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) and the City of Tallahassee are teaming up to encourage young people to conserve water in observance of the 1st Annual North Florida Water Festival on Saturday, March 7. Leon High School drama students will perform an original PSC play, Water Wiser, at the Florida Water Environment Association’s premier educational event in Cascades Park.
“Water Wiser encourages students to think now about the importance of water conservation and how we need to preserve this precious resource for our future,” said PSC Chairman Art Graham. “We’re pleased to join the City in supporting the North Florida Water Festival, a perfect opportunity to help students learn more about Florida’s water supply at beautiful Cascades Park.” The play, sponsored by the City’s Underground Utilities, is scheduled for the following times and location: Saturday, March 7, 2014 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Cascades Park 1001 South Gadsden Tallahassee, FL For additional information, visit www.floridapsc.com.
