PSC Assists Seniors During Older Americans Month

“The Older Americans Month theme, ‘Get into the Act,’ is appropriate as we continue our outreach and participation with agencies ‘actively’ serving seniors,” said PSC Chairman Art Graham. “Through interacting with Florida’s seniors we help raise their awareness to the tools that can enhance their well-being.”

PSC staff will make presentations on Wednesday, May 13 in Ft. Myers and Jacksonville, where seniors will receive tips on energy and water conservation, information about the Lifeline Assistance telephone discount program, and ways to protect themselves from scammers.
