The Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) will host information sessions on Tuesday, September 15, in Orange County, for residents to learn about the Lifeline Assistance (Lifeline) discounted telephone program.
These events highlight “National Lifeline Awareness Week 2015,” September 14-20, which aims to raise awareness and increase participation in the Lifeline program. Representatives will be available to help qualified residents apply. Events will be held at the following times and locations: Tuesday, September 15, 2015 10 a.m. – 12 noon Goodwill Industries of Central Florida Orlando Job Connection Center 3911 East Colonial Drive Orlando, FL 32803 and 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Goodwill Industries of Central Florida West Orlando Job Connection Center 3200 West Colonial Drive Orlando, FL 32808 The Federal Communications Commission, the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners, and the National Association of State Utility Consumer Advocates are supporting this year’s National Lifeline Awareness Week, September 14-20.
