TALLAHASSEE —
The staff of the Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) will conduct a
customer meeting Monday, August 23, 2004, for customers of Sebring Gas System,
Inc. The utility, which provides natural gas service to consumers in the
Sebring area, is seeking a permanent rate increase.
The purpose of the meeting is to provide utility customers an opportunity
to comment on the proposed annual increase of $234,641 and on quality-of-service
issues related to the utility. The proposed increase to residential customers
will vary based on usage. For example, a customer using an average of 10
therms per month would pay an additional $5.50 per month under the company’s
proposed increase. Customers of the utility are invited to attend the meeting,
which will be held at the following time and location:
