TALLAHASSEE —
The staff of the Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) will conduct a public meeting on Monday, February 19, 2007, for customers of Utilities, Inc. of Florida (UIF). UIF is a water and wastewater utility providing service to 22 systems in Marion, Orange, Pasco, Pinellas, and Seminole counties and has applied for an increase in rates. The utility’s last rate case was in 2002.
The purpose of the meeting is to provide customers an opportunity to comment on the proposed rate increases and any quality-of-service issues relevant to the utility. Customers are invited to attend the meeting at the following time and location:
