TALLAHASSEE —
The staff of the Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) will conduct a public meeting on Thursday, April 5, 2007, for customers of Key Haven Utility Corporation (Key Haven). Key Haven is a wastewater utility providing service to approximately 446 customers in Monroe County and has applied for an increase in rates. The utility’s last rate case was in 2002.
The purpose of the meeting is to provide customers an opportunity to comment on the proposed rate increases and any quality-of-service issues relevant to the utility. Customers are invited to attend the meeting at the following time and location:

The PSC exercises regulatory authority over utilities in the areas of rate base/economic regulation; competitive market oversight; and monitoring of safety, reliability, and service.
