The Florida Public Service Commission’s staff will hold a workshop on Thursday, August 23, 2007, to discuss issues relevant to the development and implementation of a Renewable Portfolio Standard (RPS) for Florida. Topics for discussion will include, but not be limited to: 1) goals and objectives of an RPS, 2) applicability of an RPS, 3) resources eligible for inclusion, 4) structure of an RPS, and 4) the role of renewable energy credits.
