TALLAHASSEE —
The Florida Public Service Commission (Commission or PSC ) will hold a hearing beginning Tuesday, October 2, to review the Storm Hardening Plans filed by Florida’s investor-owned electric utilities.
The purpose of this hearing is for the Commission to gather evidence on the 2007 Electric Infrastructure Storm Hardening Plans submitted by Florida Power & Light Company, Gulf Power Company, Progress Energy Florida, Inc., and Tampa Electric Company pursuant to Rule 25-6.0342, Florida Administrative Code. The Commission is scheduled to consider approval of the plans at the December 4, 2007, Agenda Conference. The Commission will also consider any motions or other matters that may be pending at the time of the hearing. The Commission may rule on any such motions from the bench or may take the matters under advisement.
