The Florida Public Service Commission will hold a staff workshop on Thursday, December 6, 2007, to continue to discuss issues relevant to the development of a Renewable Portfolio Standard (RPS) for Florida. This workshop will focus on (1) methods to encourage specific renewable resources, (2) methods to encourage utility compliance with an RPS, and (3) mechanisms to measure and verify compliance efforts.
