TALLAHASSEE —
The Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) will conduct a customer meeting on Thursday, July 24, 2008, for customers of Regency Utilities, Inc. (Regency). The utility has filed an application for original water and wastewater certificates and has requested an increase in rates. Regency has been exempt from Public Service Commission regulation because it resold water and wastewater services from JEA. The utility provides service to approximately 189 water and 176 wastewater customers in Duval County.
The meeting allows customers to comment on the proposed rates and any quality-of-service issues relevant to the utility. Customers are invited to attend the meeting at the following time and location:
