TALLAHASSEE —
The Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) will conduct a service hearing on October 1, 2008, for customers of K W Resort Utilities Corp. The utility provides wastewater service to approximately 1,556 customers in Monroe County and has applied for an increase in rates. Water service is provided by the Florida Keys Aqueduct Authority. The utility’s last rate case was in 1983.
The hearings allow customers to comment on the proposed rates and any quality-of-service issues relevant to the utility. Customers are invited to attend the hearings at the following times and location:
