Workshop on Renewable Portfolio Standards Set for Wednesday


TALLAHASSEE — Florida’s Public Service Commission (PSC) will hold a renewable portfolio standards workshop on Wednesday, December 3, 2008, which will include a presentation by Navigant Consulting on the Florida renewables assessment study. The workshop will also include staff presentations and public comment. Pursuant to legislation passed during the 2008 session, the Commission is directed to develop a Renewable Portfolio Standard rule and submit it to the Legislature for ratification by February 1, 2009.
