TALLAHASSEE —
The Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) will conduct a customer meeting on Thursday, April 2, 2009, in Deltona for customers of Florida Public Utilities Company (FPUC). The utility serves 51,000 residential and commercial natural gas customers in central and south Florida and has applied for an increase in its rates. FPUC’s last approved rate increase was in 2004.
The meeting allows customers to comment on the proposed rates and any quality-of-service issues relevant to the utility. Customers are invited to attend the meeting at the following time and location: Thursday, April 2, 2009 6:00 p.m. City of Deltona City Commission Chambers, City Hall 2345 Providence Blvd. Deltona, Florida The PSC is committed to making sure that Florida's consumers receive their electric, natural gas, telephone, water, and wastewater services in a safe, affordable, and reliable manner.
