Florida Public Service Commission Considers Items of Interest at Upcoming Agenda Conference

TALLAHASSEE — The following items are among those scheduled for consideration by the Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) at the Tuesday, April 6, 2010 Agenda Conference:

ITEM 3: Docket No. 100084-EIInitiation of Rulemaking to Adopt Rule 25-6.0424, F.A.C., Petition for Mid-Course Correction.  The Commission will address a staff recommendation on whether to adopt Rule 25-6.0424, F.A.C., which would prescribe the application process for mid-course corrections.

ITEM 4: Docket No. 090146-EQPetition by Tampa Electric Company for Approval of Extension of Small Power Production Agreement with City of Tampa.  The Commission will address a staff recommendation on Tampa Electric Company’s voluntary withdrawal of a purchased power agreement between the utility and the City of Tampa.

ITEM 15: Docket No. 090372-EQPetition for Approval of Negotiated Purchase Power Contract with FB Energy, LLC by Progress Energy Florida.  The Commission will consider a staff recommendation on FB Energy’s Motion to Dismiss U.S. Funding Group's protest for environmental concerns.
