TALLAHASSEE —
The Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) will conduct a customer meeting on Wednesday, October 27, for customers of Aqua Utilities Florida, Inc. (Aqua). The utility provides service to approximately 16,357 water and 6,789 wastewater customers in Alachua, Brevard, DeSoto, Hardee, Highlands, Lake, Lee, Marion, Orange, Palm Beach, Pasco, Polk, Putnam, Seminole, Sumter, Volusia, and Washington Counties and has applied for a rate increase. Aqua’s last approved rate increase was in 2008.
The meeting allows customers to comment on the proposed rates and any quality-of-service issues relevant to the utility. Customers are invited to attend the meeting at the following time and location:
