TALLAHASSEE —
The Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) will conduct customer meetings on Thursday, November 18, and Friday, November 19, for customers of Bimini Bay Utilities Corporation (Bimini Bay) and Four Points Utility Corporation (Four Points).
In August 2009, Bimini Bay filed an application with the PSC for a certificate to provide water and wastewater service in Polk County and for authority to change its rates and charges for water and wastewater service. While Four Points does not currently have an application before the Commission to change its rates, the Commission has received numerous complaints regarding the utility’s billing practices and customer service.
The meetings provide an opportunity for customers of both utilities to ask questions or offer comments regarding Bimini Bay’s application and the quality of service provided by Bimini Bay and Four Points. Customers are invited to attend the meetings at the following times and location:
Thursday, November 18, 2010 6:00 p.m. and Friday, November 19, 2010 10:00 a.m. Island Club West Clubhouse 3100 Sand Mine Road Davenport, Florida For additional information, visit www.floridapsc.com.
