TALLAHASSEE —
The Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) will conduct a service hearing on Monday, August 29, for customers of Aqua Utilities Florida, Inc. (AUF). This will be the first of 10 service hearings being held in AUF’s service territory.
On March 13, the PSC issued a proposed agency action order granting AUF $2.6 million of the utility’s requested $4.1 million rate increase. The Commission’s order was protested by intervenors in the case. As a result, the PSC will now be holding customer service hearings to allow customers to comment on AUF’s quality of service and its requested rates. Customers are invited to attend the meeting at the following date, time, and location: Monday, August 29, 2011 6:00 p.m. Greenacres City Hall City Commission Chambers 5800 Melaleuca Lane Greenacres, Florida For additional information, visit www.floridapsc.com.
