Items of Interest at Upcoming Florida PSC Commission Conference

ITEM 4: Docket 110138-EI – Petition for increase in rates by Gulf Power Company. The Commission will consider a staff recommendation deferred from the June 19 Commission Conference on Gulf’s Motion for Reconsideration to include land, acquisition, and investigation costs for its North Escambia site in base rates.

ITEM 6: Docket 120058-EQ – Petition for approval of a renewable energy power purchase contract with Rayonier Performance Fibers, LLC by Florida Public Utilities Company.  The Commission will address a staff recommendation on FPUC’s contract proposal to purchase excess biomass energy from Rayonier.

ITEM 8: Docket 120126-GU – Petition for approval of a residential standby generator rate schedule by Florida City Gas.  The Commission will consider a staff recommendation on FCG’s proposed rate schedule for new customers whose only natural gas appliance is a  generator for use during power outages.
