Florida’s Public Service Commission will host information sessions Tuesday, September 11 through Thursday, September 13 for South Florida residents to learn about the Lifeline Assistance (Lifeline) discounted telephone program.
These events highlight “National Lifeline Awareness Week,” September 10-14, which aims to raise awareness and increase participation in the Lifeline program. Representatives will be available to explain recent Federal Communication Commission (FCC) changes to the Lifeline program and to sign up qualified residents.
