Florida’s Public Service Commission will host an information session on Wednesday, September 12 in Tampa for unemployed residents to learn about the Lifeline Assistance (Lifeline) discounted telephone program.
This event highlights “National Lifeline Awareness Week,” September 10-14, which aims to raise awareness and increase participation in the Lifeline program. Representatives will be available to explain recent Federal Communication Commission (FCC) changes to the Lifeline program and to sign up qualified residents.
